Ability of managers for crisis management in small enterprises: study in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Since the enterprise have been existing, crisis of enterprise is well-known. Researches in area of possible appearance crisis in small and medium size enterprises, and sciense enterprise management which is crisis, have large significance when we talk about survival those enterprises, apropos possible prevention their bancrot. We can see that theory is mostly dedicated to enterprises repairing. The early symptom in sight of crisis and prevention latent crisis of enterprise are pointed up. Crisis management and analysis of strategy for turn out from the crisis, as we can see in this is paper, expand views and enable giving certain recomendations for appliance in practice.
EDUCATING STUDENTS FROM WBC TO IMPROVE ENTREPRENEURIAL COMPETENCIES

The development of entrepreneurial capacities is one of the key objectives of EU policy. There is an increasing awareness that entrepreneurial skills, knowledge and attitudes can be learned. This leads to the ever more noticeable development of an entrepreneurial mindset and entrepreneurial culture in individuals and society as a whole. Partly because of the current crisis and high unemployment, the labor market is increasingly in demand for multidisciplinary engineers with additional skills. Engineering education is therefore faced with new challenges that require a higher level of entrepreneurial competencies. This paper presents the influence of education in the field of entrepreneurship on improvement of entrepreneurial competences among students of engineering disciplines.
ELIMINATION LEAN WASTE IN THE PRODUCTION PROCESS

To survive in the market, it is necessary to develop a new approach to improve the production process. Waste elimination represents great potential in terms of improving the production process. To eliminate wastes, it is necessary to perform an analysis of the work process, to identify all the causes that lead to wastes and, based on that, to plan and implement improvement measures to reduce or eliminate these wastes. In this paper, it is proposed to eliminate Lean wastes by eliminating the failures that lead to them. Identifying and eliminating failures also leads to eliminating wastes. The Ishikawa diagram was used to identify failures. By applying the failures elimination method, Lean waste will also be eliminated.
EXPERIMENTAL ANALYSIS OF HEAT DISSIPATION FROM THE ELECTRIC MOTOR

In order for an automobile company to survive on the market, it is necessary that their products comply with the specifications and requirements of customers. For the realization of specifications, it is necessary to constantly control the production process, as well as certain parameters that depend exclusively on customer requirements. In this paper, an electric motor named Colt is observed and analyzed. Three groups of motors and their heat dissipation to the environment were observed. Due to the construction and the position where the electric motor is installed in the vehicle, the impact of heat dissipation on the environment is extremely important, which is defined by the customer. In addition to enabling adequate data to be obtained, this analysis will allow for the accelerated approval of PPAP samples.
EXPERIMENTAL MEASUREMENT OF SLIDING BEARING TEMPERATURE USING THERMOGRAPHY

In this paper is shown an example of the use of thermography in the measurement of temperature of the sliding bearings. The temperature is very important by sliding bearings, so it is necessary to measure frequently and the contactless gauges allow it in a very simple way. This paper shows that the measurement is bit dependent on the manufacturer of the camera that measures the temperature, it is important that the camera is intended for such measurements and that the basic parameters such as emissivity and measurement distance are well adjusted. Different camera manufacturers enrich accessories, which certainly helps users to handle the camera more easily, but from the aspect of temperature accuracy, cameras of the same characteristics give approximately similar results.

This paper presents contents of literature and review of a company motives on integrated management system (IMS) implementation, namely factors affecting the IMS implementation.
Fuzzy Approach in Ranking of Banks according to Financial Performances

Evaluating bank performance on a yearly basis and making comparison among banks in certain time intervals provide an insight into general financial state of banks and their relative position with respect to the environment (creditors, investors, and stakeholders).The aim of this study is to propose a new fuzzy multicriteria model to evaluate banks respecting relative importance of financial performances and their values. The relative importance of each pair of financial performance groups is assessed linguistic expressions which are modeled by triangular fuzzy numbers. Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchical Process (FAHP) is applied to determine relative weights of the financial performances. In order to rank the treated banks, new model based on Fuzzy Technique for Order Performance by Similarity to Ideal Solution (FTOPSIS) is deployed. The proposed model is illustrated by an example giving real life data from 12 banks having 80% share of the Serbian market. In order to verify the proposed FTOPSIS different measures of separation are used. The presented solution enables the ranking of banks, gives an insight of bank’s state to stakeholders, and provides base for successful improvement in a field of strategy quality in bank business.
IMPACT OF INNOVATION ON THE GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF SMEs IN BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA

Small and medium enterprises are by their very nature almost compelled to seek their place on the market through the implementation of innovative processes and innovations. Innovation is one of the processes that contribute to sustaining the competitiveness of the company, showing the operational flexibility and the ability to acquire new knowledge, that is, a favorable exchange of information with its environment in which it operates. This paper presents an overview of the innovation impact in SMEs in Bosnia and Herzegovina, observing the impact factors in which innovation influences growth and development, and thus the overall success of the company.
IMPLEMENTACIJA SISTEMA UPRAVLJANJA ENERGIJOM ISO 50001:2011 U BIH

Potreba za pravilnim korištenjem energetskih resursa i obnovljivih izvora energije dovela je do uspostavljanja novog međunarodnog standarda u cilju sprečavanja nepravilne potrošnje energije i smanjenja zagađivača životne sredine. Svrha ovog standarda je da omogući organizacijama da uspostave sistem i procese potrebne za poboljšanje energetskih performansi, uključujući i energetsku efikasnost, korištenje i potrošnju. Implementacija sistema za upravljanje energijom, pomaže organizacijama u planiranju radi smanjenja troškova energenata, optimizaciji primjene energije, smanjenja zagađivanja životne sredine i obezbjeđenje odgovarajućeg sadržaja energije proporcionalnog kvaliteta i troškova.
Industry 4.0 and Multi-tasking machining

A clear trend of Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing is to promote the increased use of multi-tasking machine tools. These machines are easily integrated into digital production systems and enable real-time data acquisition, remote monitoring and adaptive cutting processing. The integration of multi-tasking machine tools and digital manufacturing systems will improve the implementation of predictive maintenance, process optimization and production efficiency. Moreover, the development of robotics and AI along with the adoption of Industry 4.0 will increase the market share of these machine tools. The market demand is expected to increase further due to the rise of Industry 4.0. The paper analyzes the main advantages of multi-tasking machining, focusing on the advanced features of multi-tasking machine tools, as well as the latest trend of integrating additive manufacturing processes with CNC machining.
INFLUENCE OF QUALITY INFRASTRUCTURE ON REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Quality infrastructure is developed on state level and covers standardization, accreditation, metrology and certification. It is a “hard” part of quality infrastructure. On the regional level there are “soft” factors such as quality level in organizations, education and training level, state support and so on. The key role of quality infrastructure is to be a basis for all quality improvement actions on lower i.e. organizational levels. It is also a basis for regional development. The influence of quality infrastructure on regional development has not been investigated enough, especially in transition states. That serves as motivation to the authors trying to define an integrative model of quality infrastructure and regional development. This model is partially verified in Bosnia and Hercegovina, being an example of transition economy. A part of the research has been presented in the paper
INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT IN SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES

Appearance of a number of management systems with various and sometimes divergent demands, demands for revise of optimal strategy on implementation of these standards in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and the attempt on their integration into integrated management system are suggested even more. Firstly question on choice and a reason for implementation of standards is raised. Management and employees expect benefits on the implementation and they pass and minimize the implementation barriers. Basic concept on integrated management system (IMS) into SMEs and analyze on reasons and advantages at IMS implementation are presented in this paper.
LAYER THICKNESS INFLUENCE OF MACRO- AND MICROSTRUCTURE QUALITY OF 3D PRINTED PARTS

In this paper will be analyzed the influence of the layer thickness on the micro and macro structure of the parts obtained by 3D printing, i.e. fused filament fabrication (FFF) technology. Specimens for analysis will be printed on the 3D printer Zotrax M 200, and the macro and microstructure will be done on the VHX 6000 microscope. It will be shown in the paper that by increasing the thickness of the layer, the time required for the production of the part will be significantly reduced, but also the quality of the surface is also significantly affected.
Modelling and Enhancement of Organizational Resilience Potential in Process Industry SMEs

The business environment is rapidly changing and puts pressure on enterprises to find effective ways to survive and develop. Since it is almost impossible to identify the multitude of complex conditions and business risks, an organization has to build its resilience in order to be able to overcome issues and achieve long term sustainability. This paper contributes by establishing a two-step model for assessment and enhancement of organizational resilience potential oriented towards Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the process industry. Using a dynamic modelling technique and statistical tools, a sample of 120 SMEs in Serbia has been developed as a testing base, and one randomly selected enterprise was used for model testing and verification. Uncertainties regarding the relative importance of organizational resilience potential factors (ORPFs) and their value at each level of business are described by pre-defined linguistic expressions. The calculation of the relative importance of ORPFs for each business level is stated as a fuzzy group decision making problem. First, the weighted ORPFs’ values and resilience potential at each business level are determined. In the second step, near optimal enhancement of ORPFs’ values is achieved by applying a genetic algorithm (GA).

U ovom radu predstavljeni su elementi organizacije i upravljanja kvalitetom u malim i srednjim preduzećima. Opisan je pojam kvaliteta, kao i evolucija kvaliteta. Definisana su mala i srednja preduzeća. Razmotreni su razlozi za implementaciju sistema kvaliteta u malim i srednjim preduzećima sa aspekta njihove konkurentnosti na tržištu.
POSSIBILITIES OF IMPLEMENTATION OF THE BALANCED SCORECARD METHOD IN HIGHER EDUCATION

This paper describes the application of the BSC to the existing strategy of the university. With its application an unbalanced strategic state is translated to the balanced state on the way of equal engagement of all resources and segments of functioning of HEI. After the estimated needs for the establishment of a BSC, existing strategic goals of HEI are translated into KSF, and later in the KPI, on which basis is the proven original use of the BSC, and that is translating strategy into an understandable set of indicators. On that way the number of original KPI is reduced on the acceptable number for monitoring and decision making. Creating a strategy map is a simplified picture of the strategy and provided a contribution to the effective implementation of the strategy through the understanding of key parameters of all relevant perspectives of functioning.
PROCESS OF IMPROVING THE ENTREPRENEURIAL COMPETENCIES

Entrepreneurship, through the creation of new jobs, increased innovation and poverty reduction, has been recognized as the main factor in economic and social development. In this paper, special attention is paid to the development of entrepreneurial knowledge, skills and attitudes through entrepreneurial education. There is an increasing awareness that entrepreneurial skills, knowledge and attitudes can be learned, leading to a more visible development of the entrepreneurial mindset and entrepreneurial culture in individuals and society as a whole. The paper presents the process of improvement of entrepreneurial competences among students of engineering disciplines. The process of improvement represents the approaches developed within Erasmus + REBUS projects.

SKLONOST PREDUZETNISTVU STUDENATA INZENJERSKIH DISCIPLINA

U radu su prikazani rezultati provedenih istrazivanja medu studentima inzenjerskih disciplina na Univerzitetu u Istocnom Sarajevu sa aspekta sklonosti ka preduzetnistvu. Date su analize steceniPi kompetencija i ispunjenosti preduslova za zapocinjanje biznisa, odnosno razmatrana su njihova licna efikasnost, organizacija, motivacija, tj. sklonost ka uspijehu. Analizirane su i obrazovne potrebe u razlicitim podrucjima samostalnog poslovanja, te donesene preoporuke za unapredenje studija inzenjerskih disciplina u pogledu sticanja odgovarajucih kompetencija.
ZNANJE I VJEŠTINA LIDERA U MALIM I SREDNJIM PREDUZEĆIMA U BOSNI I HERCEGOVINI

Preduzeća posluju u uslovima otvorenog tržišta i velikih tehnoloških promjena, sa sve većom konkurencijom i sve većim zahtjevima savremenog tržišta. U takvom okruženju, podložnom izuzetno brzim promjenama, liderska uloga je veoma složena i zahtijeva od lidera posebne vještine i znanja, afinitete i sposobnosti, kao i komunikaciju na svim nivoima u organizaciji. Lideri treba da organizaciju vode na osnovu definisane misije i vizije koristeći menadžment do cilja koji je ostvariv, sa posebnom pažnjom na integraciju različitih karakteristika koje će dovesti do zadovoljavajućeg nivoa kvaliteta proizvoda ili usluga. U ovom radu prikazan je opaženi značaj znanja i vještina lidera u MSP u BiH.
