- СтавкаA Decision-Making Model for Prioritizing Low-Carbon Policies in Climate Change Mitigation(Librello Publishing House, 2024) Qiu, Yanjun; Bouraima, Mouhamed Bayane; Badi, Ibrahim; Stević, Željko; Simic, VladimirClimate change (CC) represents a paramount environmental challenge, necessitating the deployment of sustainable, low-carbon strategies particularly in developing regions such as Africa. This study introduces a novel decision-making framework aimed at enhancing the prioritization of policies to combat the adverse effects of CC. The proposed two-stage model employs the integration of Step-Wise Weight Assessment Ratio Analysis (SWARA) and Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) under spherical fuzzy (SF) conditions to address the strategic sequencing of sustainable policies. Initially, SF-SWARA is utilized to ascertain the relative significance of diverse criteria. Subsequently, the SF-WASPAS method ranks these policies, facilitating informed decision-making. The primary obstacles identified include limited institutional capacity, insufficient financial resources, and technological constraints, for which strategic alternatives are proposed. Moreover, rigorous sensitivity and comparative analyses affirm the model's applicability. By systematically delineating and prioritizing necessary policies, this study contributes significantly to the scholarly discourse on climate mitigation (CM) in an African context.
- СтавкаA Novel Hybrid Interval Rough SWARA–Interval Rough ARAS Model for Evaluation Strategies of Cleaner Production(MDPI, 2022) Tanackov, Ilija; Badi, Ibrahim; Stević, Željko; Pamučar, Dragan; Kazimieras Zavadskas, Edmundas; Bausys, RomualdasCleaner production is certainly a challenge of our everyday life, and a lot of effort and energy is required to achieve it. This paper has created a model of five strategies for cleaner production in Libyan industry, which have been evaluated on the basis of eight criteria. In order to determine the significance of the criteria, a novel interval rough SWARA (step-wise weight assessment ratio analysis) method has been developed, which takes into account the preferences of decision-makers (DMs) by applying interval rough numbers. A novel interval rough ARAS (additive ratio assessment) method has been developed for the evaluation and selection of the most favorable strategy for cleaner production. The integration of the developed methods has yielded results showing that the first strategy, launching awareness-raising campaigns to publicize these policies, represents the most realistic and best current solution to achieve cleaner production in Libyan industry. A comparative analysis with some existing interval rough methodologies has been presented to verify the superiority of the proposed model. In addition, in a sensitivity analysis, the weight of the most significant criterion has been changed.
- СтавкаAN INTEGRATED FUCOM-RAFSI MODEL FOR ASSESSING THE POTENTIAL OF A NEW GATEWAY PORT IN LIBYA FOR SOME AFRICAN LANDLOCKED COUNTRIES(2022) Pamucar, Dragan; Badi, Ibrahim; Stevic, ZeljkoThe present paper aims at suggesting a multi-criteria decision-making model that would help in making the appropriate decision regarding the selection of the best gateway port for landlocked countries. There are 44 landlocked countries around the world, which do not have a seaport directly linked to the rest of the world. Sixteen of these countries are located in Africa, making it weak to compete in the global market, in addition to the high costs of its imports. The model proposed in this paper was applied to two landlocked countries in the African continent: Chad and Niger. The paper proposed 8 evaluation criteria related to evaluating the ports themselves in terms of infrastructure and services tariffs, as well as to the level of safety and the transport infrastructure from the transit country to the landlocked one. The Full Consistency Method (FUCOM) was used for the purpose of evaluating such criteria, and the number of navigation lines was the most important one. Ranking of Alternatives through Functional mapping of criterion sub-intervals into a Single Interval (RAFSI) method was used for the purpose of comparing 6 ports to conclude that the Misurata seaport is the best alternative
- СтавкаEVALUATION OF DIMENSIONS OF SERVQUAL MODEL FOR DETERMINING QUALITY OF PROCESSES IN REVERSE LOGISTICS USING A DELPHI – FUZZY PIPRECIA MODEL(Institute for Economic Forecasting, 2022) Stević, Željko; Nunić, Dajana; Badi, Ibrahim; Karabašević, DarjanDetermining a quality measure is a complex process that requires a large number of input parameters and extensive analysis. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the dimensions of SERVQUAL model for its application in one of reverse logistics channels. A methodology that includes a combination of Delphi and PIPRECIA (PIvot Pairwise RElative Criteria Importance Assessment) method in a fuzzy form was applied. The Delhi method was applied in order for 112 users who filled in the SERVQUAL questionnaire to rank its five constituent dimensions according to significance. After that, based on the evaluation of five experts using the Fuzzy PIPRECIA method, the final values of the dimensions were obtained. Based on results, we could determine that the most significant dimension is C5 (responsiveness) with a weight coefficient of 0.259, followed by the reliability dimension (C1) with a weight of 0.228, slightly smaller than the responsiveness dimension. The assurance dimension and tangibles dimension follow with values (C2=0.207 and C3=0.183), while the empathy dimension is in the last position – C4=0.156. The obtained results show that certain improvement measures should be applied since certain dimensions do not meet the expectations of users to a greater extent. - СтавкаMeasuring Performance in Transportation Companies in Developing Countries: A Novel Rough ARAS Model(MDPI, 2018) Radović, Dunja; Stević, Željko; Pamučar, Dragan; Zavadskas, Edmundas Kazimieras; Badi, Ibrahim; Antuchevičiene, Jurgita; Turskis, ZenonasThe success of any business depends fundamentally on the possibility of balancing (symmetry) needs and their satisfaction, that is, the ability to properly define a set of success indicators. It is necessary to continuously monitor and measure the indicators that have the greatest impact on the achievement of previously set goals. Regarding transportation companies, the rationalization of transportation activities and processes plays an important role in ensuring business efficiency. Therefore, in this paper, a model for evaluating performance indicators has been developed and implemented in three different countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Libya and Serbia. The model consists of five phases, of which the greatest contribution is the development of a novel rough additive ratio assessment (ARAS) approach for evaluating measured performance indicators in transportation companies. The evaluation was carried out in the territories of the aforementioned countries in a total of nine companies that were evaluated on the basis of 20 performance indicators. The results obtained were verified throughout a three-phase procedure of a sensitivity analysis. The significance of the performance indicators was simulated throughout the formation of 10 scenarios in the sensitivity analysis. In addition, the following approaches were applied: rough WASPAS (weighted aggregated sum product assessment), rough SAW (simple additive weighting), rough MABAC (multi-attributive border approximation area comparison) and rough EDAS (evaluation based on distance from average solution), which showed high correlation of ranks by applying Spearman’s correlation coefficient (SCC).
