- СтавкаA New Integrated Fuzzy Approach to Selecting the Best Solution for Business Balance of Passenger Rail Operator: Fuzzy PIPRECIA-Fuzzy EDAS Model(MDPI, 2020) Vesković, Slavko; Stević, Željko; Karabašević, Darjan; Rajilić, Snježana; Milinković, Sanjin; Stojić, GordanThe analysis of operations of the passenger traffic operator in the Republic of Srpska (RS) showed that the volume of passenger transport has, for the last fifteen years, been in constant decline. It is of particular importance that the operator has, year after year, recorded a negative balance of business. The way out of the current unfavorable situation in the sector of passenger traffic is based on the application of Public Service Obligation (PSO) based on the Regulation 1370/2007. In order to solve the problems, seven realistically possible variants have been identified. This paper defines the criteria for selecting the best variant, as well as a new integrated fuzzy model for the selection of the best variant that will enable the operator to make a profit. To define the weights of criteria in this paper, we have used the fuzzy PIvot Pairwise RElative Criteria Importance Assessment (F-PIPRECIA) method, while for ranking and selection of the best variant, we have used the Fuzzy Evaluation based on Distance from Average Solution (F-EDAS) method. Results show that the seventh variant: “Increase in revenue from ticket sales and PSO services and reduction in costs“ is the best solution in current conditions. Validation tests are performed with different scenarios and approaches and show that the model is stable. A validity test was created consisting of variations in the significance of model input parameters, testing of reverse rank, applying the fuzzy Measurement Alternatives and Ranking according to the COmpromise Solution (F-MARCOS), fuzzy Simple Additive Weighing (F-SAW) method, and fuzzy Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (F-TOPSIS). As a part of the validation tests, Spearman’s coefficient of correlation (SCC) in some scenarios is performed and weights of the criteria have been obtained using the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (F-AHP) and Full Consistency Method (FUCOM)
- СтавкаA Single-Valued Neutrosophic Extension of the EDAS Method(MDPI, 2021) Stanujkić, Dragiša; Karabašević, Darjan; Popović, Gabrijela; Pamučar, Dragan; Stević, Željko; Kazimieras Zavadskas, Edmundas; Smarandache, FlorentinThis manuscript aims to propose a new extension of the EDAS method, adapted for usage with single-valued neutrosophic numbers. By using single-valued neutrosophic numbers, the EDAS method can be more efficient for solving complex problems whose solution requires assessment and prediction, because truth- and falsity-membership functions can be used for expressing the level of satisfaction and dissatisfaction about an attitude. In addition, the indeterminacy-membership function can be used to point out the reliability of the information given with truth- and falsitymembership functions. Thus, the proposed extension of the EDAS method allows the use of a smaller number of complex evaluation criteria. The suitability and applicability of the proposed approach are presented through three illustrative examples.
- СтавкаEvaluation of Criteria for the Implementation of High-Performance Computing (HPC) in Danube Region Countries Using Fuzzy PIPRECIA Method(MDPI, 2020) Tomašević, Milovan; Lapuh, Lucija; Stević, Željko; Stanujkić, Dragiša; Karabašević, DarjanThe use of computers with outstanding performance has become a real necessity in order to achieve greater e ciency and sustainability for the accomplishment of various tasks. Therefore, with the development of information technology and increasing dynamism in the business environment, it is expected that these computers will be more intensively deployed. In this paper, research was conducted in Danube region countries: Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Ukraine. The aim of the research was to determine what criteria are most significant for the introduction of high -performance computing and the real situation in each of the countries. In addition, the aim was to establish the infrastructure needed to implement such a system. In order to determine the partial significance of each criterion and thus the possibility of implementing high-performance computing, a multi-criteria model in a fuzzy environment was applied. The weights of criteria and their rankings were performed using the Fuzzy PIvot Pairwise RElative Criteria Importance Assessment—fuzzy PIPRECIA method. The results indicate di erent values depend on decision-makers (DMs) in the countries. Spearman’s and Pearson’s correlation coe cients were calculated to verify the results obtained.
- СтавкаEVALUATION OF DIMENSIONS OF SERVQUAL MODEL FOR DETERMINING QUALITY OF PROCESSES IN REVERSE LOGISTICS USING A DELPHI – FUZZY PIPRECIA MODEL(Institute for Economic Forecasting, 2022) Stević, Željko; Nunić, Dajana; Badi, Ibrahim; Karabašević, DarjanDetermining a quality measure is a complex process that requires a large number of input parameters and extensive analysis. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the dimensions of SERVQUAL model for its application in one of reverse logistics channels. A methodology that includes a combination of Delphi and PIPRECIA (PIvot Pairwise RElative Criteria Importance Assessment) method in a fuzzy form was applied. The Delhi method was applied in order for 112 users who filled in the SERVQUAL questionnaire to rank its five constituent dimensions according to significance. After that, based on the evaluation of five experts using the Fuzzy PIPRECIA method, the final values of the dimensions were obtained. Based on results, we could determine that the most significant dimension is C5 (responsiveness) with a weight coefficient of 0.259, followed by the reliability dimension (C1) with a weight of 0.228, slightly smaller than the responsiveness dimension. The assurance dimension and tangibles dimension follow with values (C2=0.207 and C3=0.183), while the empathy dimension is in the last position – C4=0.156. The obtained results show that certain improvement measures should be applied since certain dimensions do not meet the expectations of users to a greater extent. The originality of this research can be seen through the integration of a new Delphi – Fuzzy PIPRECIA model which is presented for the first
- СтавкаFood Behavior Changes during the COVID-19 Pandemic: Statistical Analysis of Consumer Survey Data from Bosnia and Herzegovina(MDPI, 2021) Ben Hassen, Tarek; El Bilali, Hamid; Allahyari, Mohammad S.; Karabašević, Darjan; Radosavac, Adriana; Berjan, Sinisa; Vaško, Željko; Radanov, Pavle; Obhođaš, IbrahimBosnia and Herzegovina has responded to the COVID-19 pandemic by implementing quarantine and other social distancing measures. These measures, however, have mental, social, and economic consequences on diet and food behaviors. The Bosnian case is particularly pertinent since the country has one of the highest global mortality rates relative to its population. In addition, its health system is fragmented and under-resourced. Consequently, in this study, we analyze the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on Bosnians’ behaviors relating to food. It is based on an online survey performed during October–November 2020 with 3133 adult respondents. The statistical analysis encompassed descriptive statistics (means, percentages, and frequencies), as well as cluster analysis. The results reveal that the pandemic transformed consumers’ shopping behaviors and food sourcing, reducing shopping frequency and increasing food bought on each trip. Furthermore, there was an increase in the consumption of local food items due to food safety concerns. Additionally, the pandemic improved the awareness of Bosnians towards food with a decrease in food waste. Regarding diets, Bosnians tried to have healthier diets during the pandemic. Therefore, COVID-19 might have opened a ‘window of opportunity’ to promote the shift towards more sustainable food consumption and lifestyles.
- СтавкаPreparing for the Worst? Household Food Stockpiling during the Second Wave of COVID-19 in Serbia(MDPI, 2021) Ben Hassen, Tarek; El Bilali, Hamid; Allahyari, Mohammad S.; Berjan, Sinisa; Karabašević, Darjan; Radosavac, Adriana; Dašić, Goran; Ðervida, RužicaStockpiling and panic buying are significant components of crisis- and disaster-related consumption behaviors that have gained significant media coverage during the COVID-19 pandemic. This paper aims to analyze the features of stockpiling behavior during the second wave of COVID-19 in Serbia based on a structured online questionnaire. This study seeks to answer two questions. First, what factors triggered and affected stockpiling during the COVID-19 pandemic in Serbia? Second, how does stockpiling affect other food habits and diets? A total of 851 valid responses were received. The results highlight several features of the stockpiling behavior in Serbia. First, food stockpiling behavior is influenced by some sociodemographic variables such as gender and household composition. Second, stockpiling was fueled by several negative emotions such as fear, sadness, and depression. Third, the results confirm that stockpiling in Serbia was not triggered by supply shortages but rather by consumers’ concerns of obtaining enough food and rising food prices. Finally, food stockpiling was associated with some positive changes such as eating out less (e.g., restaurants/cafeteria), eating more with their family members, and cooking more food. Analyzing and comprehending consumer food stockpiling patterns during the COVID-19 pandemic may offer policymakers imperative information for adjusting supply and response strategies during future crises.
