Therefore, the rapidly expanding concept of maintenance, where people would say that maintaining a process that allows the management of the technical condition and reliability during the entire life cycle of the system. Traditionally, maintenance has been considered as a support function, non-productive and not a core function adding little value to business. However it has been noticed that many manufacturing industries have used various approaches to improve maintenance effectiveness. An analysis of the problem of machines and industrial systems maintenance as well as maintenance strategies and maintenance management process is presented in this paper. Furthermore, a development process of traditional and modern maintenance management information system is given. The possibility of development maintenance management, applying decision support systems and expert systems, are presented, at the end.

Researches in area of possible appearance crisis in small and medium size enterprises, and sciense enterprise management which is crisis, have large significance when we talk about survival those enterprises, apropos possible prevention their bancrot. We can see that theory is mostly dedicated to enterprises repairing. The early symptom in sight of crisis and prevention latent crisis of enterprise are pointed up. Crisis management and analysis of strategy for turn out from the crisis, as we can see in this is paper, expand views and enable giving certain recomendations for appliance in practice.
- СтавкаApplication of Multi Criteria Decision Making for the Selection of Optimal Solid Wood Fuel Supply(Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of East Sarajevo, 2018) Vasković, Srđan; Gvero, Petar; Batinić, Krsto; Halilović, Velid; Medaković, Vlado; Musić, JusufProduction of solid fuels from wooden biomass is defined with appropriate energy chain of supply. The notion of energy chain concept has been defined as the trajectory of energy transformations from the fuel source or energy sources to useful energy form to end users. Supply chain for production solid fuels from wooden biomass is also energy chain with high importance in biomass energy planning. In this paper, base for testing and research is developed mathematical model in previous published paper with preliminary note titled as “Multi-Criteria Optimization Concept for the Selection of Optimal Solid Fuels Supply Chain from Wooden Biomass“ at Croatian Journal of Forest Engineering. Three supply chains have been included in comparison: production of wood chips at the terminal – variant 1, production of pellet – variant 2 and production of wood chips by means of a mobile chipper in a forest – variant 3. The VIKOR methodology is used for total ranking all mentioned chains. Real input data have been used for mathematical calculation correspond to Bosnia and Herzegovina conditions.

Based on the fact that mental and technological creativity grows just in times of crisis, the Lean concept is gaining recognition and becoming a challenge to future scientists, researchers and entrepreneurs in our country. Inspired by the Japanese automotive industry, it is synonymous with a good way to get out of the crisis. The time of crisis in giving us the best time to develop the strategies of work process improvement and the application of Lean concept. The crisis facilitates the use of new paradigms with completely new mental models in the business of organizational systems. This concept provides a focus on people, their training in work processes, teamwork and continuous improvement. They are crucial for the efficiency level in the use of key resources: people, techniques, property or capital invested in human labour performance.

All the conversion of biomass into useful energy, efficiency factor describes the energy chain, from biomass resources as the energy source. This includes the collection and preparation of remains, and storage of organic residues to the end use and the conversion of biomass into heat or electricity. In Bosnia and Herzegovina there are many possibilities for both growing and using forest for energy producing. Successful examples taken from forestry management practice in EU countries can be useful for enterprises, owners, commerce and environment in BiH.

The role of entrepreneurship is universal. It includes almost all aspects of human life. Every society uses entrepreneurs’ experience in management, support and success encouragement, resource activation, motivation and risk awarding, business efficiency, stability and growth, taking responsibility and business risk. Entrepreneurs see their chances where others see confusion and chaos. Key players enabling such changes are free entrepreneurs, young entrepreneurial managers, persistent innovators, and creators of a new business world.
- СтавкаCHARACTERISTICS OF BUSINESS INCUBATORS(Faculty of Engineering Hunedoara, University Politehnica Timisoara, 2020) Medaković, Vlado; Marić, BogdanThe paper presents general characteristics of entrepreneurial infrastructure - business incubators. One of the modern ways of support to small newly established enterprises and entrepreneurs, which are in a development life phase, is the system of technological infrastructure: entrepreneurial incubators, technology centres, science parks and business zones. Those are different organizations which help entrepreneurs to develop their business ideas and to overcome more easily the initial problems in business, for which, in a wider context, the term business incubators is used, and also the clusters related to entrepreneurs who are in an advanced phase of entrepreneurship. An incubator is extremely suitable for newly founded small enterprises, which do not have their own business premises, sufficient funds and experience, on one hand, but, on the other hand, they have entrepreneurial ideas, goals and determination to do business. The opportunity to give local and regional support to newly founded and small enterprises by means of business incubators in Bosnia and Herzegovina is significant because it delivers the key elements for the development of incubators, such as unused spaces in all municipalities, that can be easily transformed into a workspace and adapt to the needs of new entrepreneurs.

- СтавкаDESIGN OF WORKING UNITS IN THE MANUFACTURING SYSTEM OF TOOL MACHINES REPAIR(University Politehnica Timisoara, Faculty of Engineering Hunedoara, 2022) Marić, Bogdan; Medaković, Vlado; Imre, KissThe paper investigates the possibility of applying the concept of production on the principle of the group technology. To make that possible, it is necessary to have a stable production program as one of the most influential factors in the choice of spatial structure. The following factors have been observed: the process of grouping parts of machine tools in the overhaul by applying the classification system and subject approach in the construction of production structures. Еmpirical research has been related to the classification and categorisation of parts - production programs. In the second phase, the analysis of classification and operational similarity of parts in the machine tools overhaul process has been performed. Тhe third phase has been related to the analysis of the representation of operational groups of individual machine tools in relation to the total number of formed operational groups in the machine tools overhaul production system. Research has shown that there are certain laws in the formation of operational groups, which can reliably assess the impact of analysed factors on the formation of permanent work units in terms of equipment allocation and workplaces (layout) regardless of the introduction of different types of machine tools in the overhaul process, and that has enabled the overhaul process efficiency increase in the overhaul system.

The most important part in bioenergy supply chain is production of fuels. Due to cheaper energy production from fossil fuels, energy from biomass is less competitive than fossil energy. For this reason, there are subsidies for energy production from biomass. In the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina there are defined only subvention for electricity produced from biomass, while the lower forms of energy are not subsidized. In accordance with the defined amount of subsidies for 1 kWh of the produced electricity we can define the value of subsidies for the produced heat energy and fuels from biomass. For that we should take into account exergy quality of these forms in comparison with electricity. This paper describes one such approach.

Waste elimination represents great potential in terms of improving the production process. To eliminate wastes, it is necessary to perform an analysis of the work process, to identify all the causes that lead to wastes and, based on that, to plan and implement improvement measures to reduce or eliminate these wastes. In this paper, it is proposed to eliminate Lean wastes by eliminating the failures that lead to them. Identifying and eliminating failures also leads to eliminating wastes. The Ishikawa diagram was used to identify failures. By applying the failures elimination method, Lean waste will also be eliminated.

Proces proizvodnje čvrstih goriva iz drvne biomase počinje sa tehnologijama za skupljanje drvnog ostatka, počev od obaranja stabla pa sve do sistema za preradu (za usitnjavanje, drobljenje, sušenje, presovanje ukoliko se pravi briket ili pelet). Efikasnost proizvodnje drvnog čipsa je u relaciji sa ukupnom uloženom energijom po 1 kWh donje toplotne moći proizvedenog goriva. Ovaj rad će prikazati analizu ukupno uložene energije u snabdijevačkom lanacu proizvodnje drvnog čipsa u funkciji od transportnih distanci i vlage u drvetu. Model za analizu energetskog indeksa proizvodnje drvnog čipsa urađen je u softverskom paketu Mathcad.
- СтавкаENERGY INDEX FOR THE PRODUCTION OF WOODEN CHIPS(University Politehnica Timisoara, Faculty of Engineering Hunedoara, 2015) Vasković, Srđan; Gvero, Petar; Medaković, Vlado; Halilović, Velid; Ikić, Marko; Jokić, Srđan; Kalabić, DraganaProduction of solid fuels from wooden biomass is defined with appropriate energy chain of supply. Procedure for production of solid fuels from wooden biomass, starting with technology for gathering wooden residues and residues from logging up by the system of fuels production (system for milling, crushing, chopping, drying and pressing of wooden residues), presents energy chain of supply with solid fuel from biomass. Efficiency of production wooden chips is the relation of overall invested energy per 1 kWh of lower heating value of produced fuel. This paper will analyze total invested energy in supply chain for production wooden chips as a function transport distance and wood moisture. Paper will mathematically describe chain of wooden chips production from forest transported to the sawmill and to the terminal of processing. Mathematical model for calculation energy index developed in Mathcad software.

SAVA” IN EAST SARAJEVO(University Politehnica Timisoara, Faculty of Engineering Hunedoara, 2016) Vasković, Srđan; Gvero, Petar; Medaković, Vlado; Halilović, VelidThis study describes the possibility of installation of pellet boilers for the production of thermal energy for heating in the primary school “Sveti Sava” in Lukavica. Existing heating system with natural gas turned out to be very expensive with high costs in terms of consumption of natural gas on annual level but also due to the high price of natural gas. Alternative possibility of heating premises within the school is seen in the installation of boilers that use wood pellets as an energy source. Above all, wood pellet represents an environmentally clean fuel in terms of CO2 emissions, but also because of the availability of resource from nearby factories that produce pellets, it can be used as a domestic fuel. In this way, the story of sustainable community development is encouraged, as well as the flow of capital within the community is closed.

Pokazalo se da klasična organizacija i upravljanje predstavljaju ograničavajući faktor za primjenu novih tehnologija, naročito informacionih tehnologija i da je neophodno fundamentalno promijeniti korporativni dizajn u cilju postizanja boljih performansi. Kao primjer dat je jedan od novih oblika organizacije, Web Paukova mreža.

Firstly question on choice and a reason for implementation of standards is raised. Management and employees expect benefits on the implementation and they pass and minimize the implementation barriers. Basic concept on integrated management system (IMS) into SMEs and analyze on reasons and advantages at IMS implementation are presented in this paper.

Dat je pregled strategija, sa osvrtom na održavanje prema pouzdanosti. Prikazane su strategije održavanja tehničkih sistema, njihovi šematski prikazi i međusobna upoređivanja, kao i trendovi u upravljanju održavanjem tehničkih sistema. Primjenom datih strategija mogle bi se, ostvariti uštede u održavanju, kako sa aspekta ekonomskih pokazatelja, uloženih sredstava, tako i sa aspekta rada mašina, odnosno tehničkih sistema u stanju u radu.

Evropska povelja za mala preduzeća, koja je obavezna za sve države članice Evropske Unije, države kandidate za članstvo u Evropsku Uniju i države Zapadnog Balkana, ističe deset područja koja su značajna za poboljšanje poslovnog okruženja za mala preduzeća. Među tih deset područja nalazi se i unapređenje on – line pristupa, odnosno korišćenje informacionih tehnologija. Istraživanje je imalo cilj da pokaže postoji li mogućnost elektronke komunikacije malih i mikro preduzeća sa sektorom institucionalne infrastrukture i na kom su nivou.
- СтавкаMODELING OF THE FLANK OF A TOOTH OF WORM GEAR MILLING CUTTERS FOR MAKING GROOVED SHAFTS(University Politehnica Timisoara, Faculty of Engineering Hunedoara, 2017) Marić, Bogdan; Medaković, VladoThe paper presents the computer model of replacement (approximation) of a curved (theoretical) profile of the flank of a tooth of worm gear milling cutter for making grooved shafts with a circle using computers, with the aim of creating quality products for the production and conditions for the achievement of minimum production costs. Also, we compared replacement errors of theoretical profile of the flank of a tooth using the circle, obtained as calculated (output) value from present computer models with the results obtained using Frafeld tables. Based on the analysis carried out for the example of the calculation of a milling cutter for making a grooved shaft with channels it can be concluded that given theoretical computer model of replacement of theoretical profile of the flank of a tooth of the milling cutter using the circle described in the paper in relation to the calculation made using Frafeld tables provides a minor error replacement (approximation).
