dc.description.abstract | The main limiting factor in increasing the productivity of the process of cold bulk metal forming is the appearance of plastic fracture. However, proper design of a technological process can greatly increase formability of the material. For those activities it is necessary to fully understand all the factors that affect constituent stages of development and the appearance of macroscopic damage on metal components. Therefore, based on the available literature resources and our own research, the impact of the most dominant factors on accumulation of critical damage of microstructure in cold bulk metal forming processes with special reference to the impact of stress state was analyzed in this paper. | |
