dc.description.abstract	The efficiency of production planning and control is increased by the application of contemporary information and communication technologies. The influence of the existence of an information system on the entire functioning of a business system, as well as on the effectiveness of production planning and control, is generally known and does not need to be proven. The paper presents the effectiveness of production control of a particular product with the use of simulation software tools that are integrated with the production information system. The basic space of the condition of the problem which the management of planning and production control should solve in the case of the production of a certain product will be presented tabularly.
